An In-Game Leader in Apex Legends is the team's real-time strategic commander. While teammates focus on executing fights, the IGL is simultaneously calling rotations, ring reads, engagement decisions, third-party timing, and squad positioning — all while shooting.
The statistical evidence is clear: 204 assists vs 125 kills across 52 competitive games, ranking #3 of 1,794 qualifier players in assists. Andrew is not optimizing for his own kill count. He is architecting situations where his teammates can succeed — rankings of #9 OPC, #10 WOC, and #11 in kills across the entire qualifier field confirm those situations are producing results.
Andrew is actively exploring collegiate esports programs for Fall 2026 that can support both his academic goals and his continued career in competitive Apex Legends at the ALGS Pro League level.
Until recently, Andrew was on a completely different path — seriously pursuing aviation and flight school after college. His pivot to collegiate esports recruiting is recent, which is why his timeline is compressed and he is currently unsigned despite his competitive résumé.
He is seeking programs that understand the IGL role, respect his commitment to competing with Free Thinkers in ALGS Pro League, and offer meaningful scholarship support. His ~30 existing college credits and strong academic record open multiple pathways.
